Laser therapy uses a form of light energy that is invisble to the naked eye. Think of laser therapy as photosynthesis for mammals. This light energy penetrates tissues and stimulates blood flow, reduces inflammation, reduces muscle tension and can repair some nerve damage. Laser therapy can significantly reduce healing time and is used to treat a variety of conditions; including, wounds, tendon injuries, musculoskeletal injuries such as hip dysplasia and neurological conditions. Laser therapy can be used on all species from dogs and cats to horses and goats.
